I tried disabling OpenGL in the Photoshop preferences in case it was a video driver issue (that seemed to be the most popular suggestion I found) - but it made no difference.Īfter lots of fiddling around and trying various other things I started looking through the Applications folder and discovered that there was a FontExplorer X Pro plugin in the /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS5/Plug-ins/ folder. I did the usual Google searches for an answer but nothing I found seemed to help. I also noticed that if I created a new file in Photoshop, and then reopened that file, it would not crash. After upgrading to Max OS X Lion I found that each time I opened a file in Photoshop CS5 it would crash just moments later.
